Xim Xim is a site-specific installation in an abandoned science laboratory. The exhibition is composed as a series of audio-visual experiments playing with the notions of perception, space, and memory. Xim Xim presents a world of backward flowing water falls, sounds of passing traffic blown from an oscillating fan, water faucets that project sounds of the ocean and an orchestral procession choreographed in reverse. Each experiment questions our initial perceptions of a seemingly normal reality.
