Apples and Oranges is
a trifocal projects installation that examines the differences of choice
and comparison between two objects that are seemingly so different,
yet, often, choice and comparison is only skin deep.
The analogy we offer between these two fruits is
ripe with metaphor in a modern consumer driven society:
What truly is the difference between Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Drano and Liquid
Plumber, Nike and Adidas, Republican and Democrat, Honda and Toyota,
or Apples and Oranges?
What are the parameters of comparison and are the objects we pit against
one another really all that different?
