Global Vision

The Global Vision installation uses a number of simple view camera-like devices made of a die-cut cardboard shape, a simple lens and vellum to create a viewing screen. The shape of the individual viewing unit can be changed to just about any shape (we’ve used a truncated tetrahedron viewing unit for the following images) but the overall idea is to connect multiple viewer units to create viewing domes, walls and other sculptural interactive forms that are designed specifically for an allocated space. Participants would be able to enter into these structures to view a continuous scene through multiple perspectives.
